Many lucky unsigned bands across Glasgow are fortunarte enough to have Iain Thomson as one the camera operators & chief editor for a new live music venture heralded by the Live Scene.
Documenting this year's Emergenza festival, bands are battling it out to play in Glasgow's Carling Academy with their sights set for rock stardom! Bands will be able to showcase their work thanks to Kenneth Campbell, the proprietor of The Live Scene, with thanks to the visual dynamics of Iain's break-neck video editing.

A ladies lunch was held recently at Glasgow's Crown Plaza hotel in aid of St Margaret's Hospice in Clydebank.
John Lewis had donated clothing for a catwalk style fashion show using the talents of local actors from the hit BBC soap "River City", in which Iain was fortunate enough to film. A huge projection screen was also utilised which meant the camera work was live & minimal space for error.
It is hoped an edited version of the film will help future fund raising activities. _______________________________________________________
Iain has been working closely with film makers, director Mark Buchanan & Bafta winning writer Gregor Barclay on their forthcoming feature "The Simulation", expected to begin principal photography come November this year. Iain has been documenting their progress through radio discussions & visits to the proposed set, the Secret Bunker outside St Andrews.
